I. RECOMMENDATION:
City Manager and Senior Administrative Analyst recommend the Coalinga City Council award a Contract in the amount of $57,200 to Hernandez Painting for the Interior Building Painting Project of City Hall located at 155 West Durian Avenue Coalinga, CA 93210.
II. BACKGROUND:
It has been over 15 years since the interior of City Hall building has been painted, excluding minimal touch up in various offices. The current condition of the interior building is worn, chipped, dated, and in need of maintenance.
As part of the one-time FY 2025-2026 projects painting of the interior of City Hall was approved
III. DISCUSSION:
Contractors were invited to tour the facilities and provide a proposal for the interior building painting of City Hall. Three bids were received. Contractor bids were reviewed and it was determined that Hernandez Painting was the lowest bid contractor to perform the job.

V. FISCAL IMPACT:
The authorization request for the contract amount of $57,200 with an additional 10% contingency of $5,720 for a total of $62,920. This project is budgeted as a one-time project to 101-432-84030. | | |
