| | |
| | | | | | | | I. RECOMMENDATION:
This item was requested as a Future Agenda Item by Mayor Pro Tem Singleton.
II. BACKGROUND:
Currently, Lynch Park has grass areas surrounding a walkway.
III. DISCUSSION:
Due to drought conditions, Mayor Pro Tem Singleton has requested that staff remove all grass at Lynch Park and replace it with decorative rock as these grass areas are generally not used for recreation and rather decorative.
IV. ALTERNATIVES:
Do not direct staff to remove grass.
V. FISCAL IMPACT:
There will be a one-time cost of approximately $3,500 to purchase the rock. This cost is not budgeted and will impact the General Fund, however, it will result in a water savings cost over time. | | |
