I. RECOMMENDATION:
City Manager recommends Council authorize City Manager to host a Chamber luncheon mixer in the Council chambers during the current fiscal year.
II. BACKGROUND:
Historically, the Coalinga Area Chamber of Commerce had hosted monthly luncheon mixers for members. Each month, a different member hosted the mixer and provided lunch. The City would participate by hosting one month.
III. DISCUSSION:
On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the Coalinga Area Chamber of Commerce resumed its monthly luncheon mixers. The mixer was hosted by Calneva and was held at Cafe 101. There were approximately 30 attendees.
The City Manager is seeking authorization for the City of Coalinga to host an upcoming luncheon mixer in the current fiscal year. The mixer would be held in the City Council chambers and the City would purchase lunch for attendees.

Do not authorize City Manager to host a Chamber Luncheon Mixer in the current fiscal year
