I. RECOMMENDATION:
City Manager recommends Council direct City Manager to utilize remaining $6,283.47 County CARES Grant Funds for Rental Assistance.
II. BACKGROUND:
Council previously approved these funds to be used for City reimbursement for PPE, residential rental, utility and meal assistance, and small business grants.
III. DISCUSSION:
The CDBG grant administered by Self Help Enterprises allows for utility assistance, but not rental assistance so it is recommended these funds be applied to rental assistance.
Additionally CV2 and CV3 are on the agenda which, if awarded, would provide small business grants.
IV. ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve and direct funds to be used differently.
V. FISCAL IMPACT:
$6,283.47 of grant funds remain.
