| | | | | | | | I. RECOMMENDATION:
This item was requested as a Future Agenda Item by Mayor Lander.
The City Manager recommends against the feasibility study due to the cost to the General Fund that is not budgeted.
II. BACKGROUND:
The City of Coalinga received a request for temporary hangar installation at the Coalinga Municipal Airport. Staff provided some information received from neighboring airports about temporary hangars.
III. DISCUSSION:
A feasibility study to develop the cost and requirements for temporary hangars could cost from $10,000 up to $50,000. These cost would be not be recovered upon the installation of the hangars, but may possibly increase the annual revenue if installation of temporary hangars is approved.
